While payment normally takes place in the vehicle between the passenger and the driver, you can pay for a reservation on behalf of someone else with the following options.
Paying at the Pick-Up or Destination
You have the option of meeting the driver either at the time of the pick-up or at the destination to present the credit card and pay on behalf of the traveling passenger.
If the payment will be at the destination, please make sure the passenger is able to contact you as he or she is approaching the destination so that you may meet them in time.
Paying From Afar
Sometimes you're not in a position to be able to meet up with either the passenger or the driver before or after the reservation or you prefer to complete the transaction discreetly. For those instances, you should consider the following:
Mobile App SecurePay
You may also book a reservation through our mobile app and selecting the SecurePay payment method and have your credit card automatically charged at the end of the reservation.
Remember, however, that the app is under your name and your contact number. Your information - not the passenger's - will be on the reservation. Make sure the passenger has the full details to confirm with the driver-- especially if your name is Jennifer and we're picking up Robert. Also remember that all changes to the reservation and charges for things like wait time and additional stops will be automatically charged to your reservation
Prepaying (Note: A $10.00 processing fee applies for this option)
There are two ways to prepay a reservation:
- PayPal payment for a set amount before the trip is taken and any additional charged not accounted for in your payment will be the responsibility of the passenger.
- Authorization form and credit card on file to be charged in office at the end of the ride, including any unanticipated additional charges.
PayPal: In order to prepay through PayPal, you must first book a reservation. Once you have the confirmation number, you would complete the form on the Prepaid section of site before being redirected to the PayPal website. Once we receive your payment from PayPal, we will update your payment method to prepaid. You can use PayPal as a guest without creating an account
Authorization Form: Should you have multiple reservations on wish to have a credit card on file to be charges for any additional charges, your best option is to request an authorization form. You would have to return to us a copy of the front and back of your credit card, a valid picture ID for the individual whose name is on that card, and the signed form consenting to have the card charge for the reservation(s) listed.
